Let’s start reading a 20 seconds story and we’ll talk about it a bit after:
An old Cherokee is teaching his grandson about life. “A fight is going on inside me,” he said to the boy.
“It is a terrible fight and it is between two wolves. One is evil – he is anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.” He continued, “The other is good – he is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith. The same fight is going on inside you – and inside every other person, too.”
The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather, “Which wolf will win?”
The old Cherokee simply replied, “The one you feed.”
I am positive you all are thinking you’re going to feed the good wolf. That’s right, me too. Of course, I was wrong too.
As everything works in this world, it’s always about harmony. And equilibrium. Remember, it’s always about finding the right compromise. There is no only good or only even wolf, but it’s up to you what you need each one of them to do. The “evil” one is strong and he can use his powers to defend himself and the close ones. The good one is the one having empathy and peace mood, he can do a lot of good things, but many of he might not dare without a bit of help from the evil one.
Remember: is’s always about your choice! Choose to be good! Choose to dare to be yourself! Choose to serve the greater good! Do it by letting both wolves do the best they can do by using their good parts!
